Just the servos left to install. And the pull system (keeping it stock here!) - maybe a maiden tomorrow.

Good luck on the maiden! If you find this plane 1/2 as fun as i do, then you'll love it.

The Stock Pull-Pull works very well. Lots of flights on mine, had to tighten it up once after about 5 or so flights, and has been holding ever since, probably 200ish flights on it now.

I cut out top of Fuse such as yurs before I glued it down whewwww

with a nano tech 2200 battery WAY tail heavy . I would like to put batt in center of Fuse for lateral balance but now I have to rethink where I am going to put it

good thing I saved the cut out piece . I thought about leaving top fuse off and moving batt back and forth to get an Idea where it might go , but on the other hand I would not have had the Rudder etc attached

Maybe I shud just put batt under neath on one side, strap it on and use some weight on opposite wing to balance

I am running the 100g motor with 1750 Rhinos (waiting for my Hyp 2100's). All I will say is I am shocked how tail heavy I am. I tried my buddies 2100s and still way tail heavy.

45 deg upline test and I am outside looping. I had my packs on and a little behind the spar, moved them up a little and no change. I am thinking I am going to have to be as far forward as possible.

All I will say is try it before you go cutting.

This is one awesome plane I think I will always own a TH 48" Epp.

Where do you two have the C of G? Mine is close to 120mm from the LE and I am using a 1800 NanoTech.

I am going to get my CG stand out now and find out where it balances - with batt in cut out similar to yurs - will get back on where it ends up

Mike. Did u cut a hole, or strap? I'm thinking I might get away with strapping n an 1800. Do you think 1600 would be ok run time wise? Thanks

Ignore: I looked back and saw your cutout.

The 12x3.8sf seems to be a good prop for this

Well, I got out the CG meter - as one of the guys told me who works for PA

much better than fingers.

with 100 Gm motor prop and collett on , ESC nestled up under front right side, MID wing so flipped plane upside down

I set the CG meter up at 110 mm from LE and only had to cut out small amt [1/2" ]
forward of my already cut out section on the top fuse and it balance right on the spot with a nano T 2200 battery

Front of battery is 5 3/4 " back from the very front of the foam

So think it is now close enuff and I can move on :-)

I originally had the 1800 lipo strapped on the lower side of the fuselage, but due to handling issues that I reported here, I moved it to a cut-out in the upper fuselage. Much to my surprise, this made a massive difference to the handling. So far the slot is tight enough not to use a strap.

If you are running the 100gm motor, I think you will find a 1600 too short on run time. I am using 1800 and wish I had cut the slot to suit a 2200 to be honest.
