No glue or motor etc as of this date , guess they are having a time up in NE getting mail out, with all the other problems left over by Sandy ..
I'm liking the 11 x 5.5 or even the 11 x 7 non slow fly props with the motor that comes in the combo and an 1800 3s or 2200 3s. I have found the SF props to be lacking. They will work but I like the non SF

Thought I would share some pic's of mine. This is truely one amazing flying EPP foam plane that I have ever owned. I can't get over at well it flies. It tracks really nice and 3D's like there's no tomorrow!
I built one for me and one for a friend. Pretty close in the same setup.
The stock motor from Twisted has more than enough power!

Here's my setup:
Stock recommended motor
Castle Phoenix 45 amp speed controller
Hitec HS65MG's
12x6 APC E prop
3s 2200mah packs
AUW 26 ounces
8 minute flights!

If your looking for a Fantastic Foamy Plane in the 48'' size, this would be it! I go to the park with a smile and come home with a huge smile!

Wheel Fairings

I assume it is not worth the hassel to put the wheel fairings on , as we fly off

close mowed grass at our field . I'd probably tear em off on first landing.

Into gluing today , now ready to locate servo's on wings [tomorrow ] piked up

some 6 " extensions for the Ailerons

Been piking glue off my fingers all evening although I did use a cut [to have a flat end vs rounded ] tongue depressor to spread the Welder's ....

Guess I still haven't learned how to build light. To get mine to 26oz I swapped a 70g motor for the 100g and the 3S-1800's for 3S-2200's. Even cut a slot in the fuse to mount the battery. Got a couple flights in with the heavier set up and looking for more slow performance than burning up the sky, which the 100g motor will do. Weather not to good lately for testing the lighter set up. Goal is to fly like the young man in the red shirt...maybee I need a red shirt....?

Glue on fingers ? Get a set of rubber gloves, cut the finghers off and you have 10 nice applicators..

Hand catching will prevent the pants from being ripped off or remove the gear?
You miss spelled picking (piking).

Well ya know how hit is in the South eg: "Cotton Piking" At one time I worked in N Denver those folks called a Coke a Pop or Soda

I bought one of those Kute Alum motor mounts from TH - but on trial fit - they do not have the same amt of Surface Area as does the Stock Motor Mount . I think it might be best to use the stock Motor Mount .

Any pros or cons on which motor mount ? Thankee Y'all come bak

The alum mount that Twisted Hobbys' sells is for the Telink models. On the Sbach the wood mount will work just fine, save the fancy alum one for the Telink model that is in your near future...
