Help with a Turnigy 1/10 2WD Dessert Buggy
If anyone can please help.
Just having bought this item I went all the way to a 3s Lipo after reading reviews. Well that didnt work too well as my ESC lasted about 30 secs. Whether I did something wrong or the ESC was faulty I dont know but I cant be bothered with warranty and asking for some help. I need to try and get this thing going asap for my sons sake. Can anyone recommend and not too crazy priced ESC that will handle a 3S 20C 5000 mAh Zippy Battery. to drive a Brushless Inrunner 3300KV (3650 size). If I can have it by the Friday in Australia that would be awsome. |

I used one of these on 3s in my MERV and it was great:

I see that its also larger in amps. Would the motor handle that? |

The motor will only draw as many amps as it wants, the ESC doesn't force amps to the motor.

thanks.
Just one more thing in regards to why the ESC caught fire in the first time. I am using a controller i had years ago for my nitro car that when you pushed back with the throttle it did the brakes. I noticed on the electric car it activated reverse. Do you think that it is not compatible and the reverse factor overloaded the ESC |

That has nothing to do with it, and it's working exactly like it should be working.
I would bet that you just over amped the ESC running 3s and that's why it went up in smoke. |

Mine lasted for about 5 charges, died when I was slowly driving up a steap hill.
Ordered a new esc and a 2s lipo |
