It's Wednesday! Yay! Time for our weekly, after work, fun fly at the park. I brought the Edge, Sbach, Crack Pitts, Fishcopter (my quad) and many batteries.
Wish i had a day like that every week. Have fun!

Sounds to me exactly like a smaller prop is the answer. You don't have much air moving over the wings at low speed so they are not providing lift and stabilization so the torque of the motor and the pitch of the prop is rolling the plane.

Send it to me. I'd like to see what the issue is.

I guess you missed my post where I said it rolled on un-powered downline.

I may do that. If I don't destroy it learning to hover. I will try a smaller prop before throwing in the towel.

As long as you have a local source prop is only a few bucks. Worth it to try in my book. Or if you know other fliers ask around to see what you can bum of someone else.

I ran this one or a little older version in mine, plenty of power, a little heavier than a 72. I had it so I used it.

Ok that was scary. Hahahahaha. Just got back from the maiden of my edge. Let's preface this by saying my flying experience is micros, and a crack Pitts, crack slick from twisted hobbies. Planes that weigh almost nothing. Lol. So onward. This is my first plane that actually has some weight to it so immediately was nervous about it.

Took off and such a different feeling in the air. Took one click of elevator trim, one click of rudder and one click of aileron trim. Very happy about the aileron trim because I was nervous after reading about the wing twists. Mine was twisted a tad but looks like I managed to get it out before installation.

Things I discovered after flipping to high rates. I think I need more up elevator. Looking at it now I have more down than up travel so going to move the arm in 1 hole and turn down the travel on the down side just a bit to get it nice and even.

Overall super happy with the plane. I just need to get used to the bigger plane with bigger weight. Hehe. Tis thing tumbles like crazy and I did the prettiest KE spin I have ever done. Lol. Can't wait to go out and fly it tomorrow. Hoping to get some video.

Oh quick question my gens ace 1300s are pretty tight under the front of the wing. Anyone found anything that slides under a bit more easily or did folks just cut a bit out of the nose of the wing? I would like to keep the wing in tact as it does a nice job of helping to hold the battery down. Hehe.

Sky lipo 1600's slide right under the wing. No cutting of the wing necessary.
