one spot on the webpage says it takes 1000mah-1600mah 3 cells.
but in the description it says they recommend at least a 1200mah battery. I have a 1300mah 30c, think that will work ok with the 72g Omega?

and....wouldnt it still work on a 1800mah? maybe not the BEST performance, but should be ok I would think....

I use 3S 1300 30C packs with my 72 Omega and it's great but I have to land at about 4:30. I won't be using anything bigger than that in mine.

Are you going to fly the Omega 72 in your 40"? I'm debating about ordering a 103 with my 40" for my 42". No one's wanting to buy it, so I may just keep it

I think some experimentation will be needed before I settle on a motor. I flew the prototype with a 72 Omega and 3S 1550s and I just can't imagine it needing anything more than that. However... the Motrolfly 2810-1200 would be pure insanity in this plane. I like the sound of that!

Did you use it once already? If it is like the discounts in the past you can only use it once.

Yeah park, I just looked at the email again, it does not say anything about an end date, the end date would be aug 1st, right now in PA it is the 26th of Thursday...

if you had put the coupon code in on the website it said at the bottom July sale valid until July 25th

Oh...well I missed out on 12$ then.

I am flying my prototype 40" Edge on the 72g Omega, and I must say it is not lacking in power. It is plenty for my tastes. A 103g Omega would just be ballistic, and would allow for some crazy maneuvers.

Either way, both motors will power the airplane very well.
