Well, my aileron trim issue is not motor torque. I took off the 2810-1200 and put on the 2610-1100 with an 11x7 prop. I already like it better this way. Lighter in the front. Still plenty of vertical power. Harriers and hovers are so much easier at half throttle than they were at quarter throttle. Lol!

I also spaced out my SFGs with some little ply washers. I had the same clearance as shown in the manual but now i have twice as much. No problems last flight.

I normally use raovac rechargable batteries and they work great, but lately I have been using some normal duracell batteries and they are probably getting close to worn out. my low battery warning was not going off though. I just put some fully charged raovac's in again to try that. I will try doing a range check too.

It is 3$ cheaper so I can get 5 for the price of 4 1600's and I can charge them faster and they are lighter so it will make the plane fly better and it will fit easier.

haha ok.......... do you know if it balances with the Omega 72g and 1600's? maybe its slightly tail heavy, and that case my 78g will work perfectly

It's been a while since I used a DX6i, but IIRC you had to tell it what type of batteries you are using. Alkaline batteries that reach the same operating voltage as NiMH are probably about dead.
