Hb in the ailerons, you will definitely want metal gear in the rudder and elevator. (well I would definitely put metal gear in the tail, but that's me) also I am going to be using a 103g so I know my servo's will be working harder than if I would put a 72g in it.

I don't think the 40" edge will have the same problem as the 48" because the edge is less mass and not as much aileron, so don't get the extra if you like full throttle blenders and such things. Either get the 40" when it comes out or don't get the 40" wait for a flight report on how it flies or just get another balsa, that 46" yak has my eye.
Thanks good to know. I will wait. I love the look of the Edge so I will wait too.

Interesting. Good to know that it flies differently then the SBach. I was afraid they would fly very similar and it would be like having two of the same. I am glad to know they are not.

They should..... I flew HS45s in my 41" Edge Ailerons, and 65HBs in the tail, and that's what I'm gonna fly in this...

EPP or balsa ... they all are the same. Last 6 weeks or may be 8 weeks ... I retired two 48" EPPs, the buck huck and the 51" AJ Slick, not including a few deprons and a T-28. I ought to go back to crawling as I destroyed cars and trucks too. Finally, the crack yak has so much welder that it most likely to go up in flame any where near a good source of fire.

Never the less, I can't wait for this plane to come into stock ... may be I should buy two just in case.

It should fly with a Park 480 although you'll probably want more power. Your KV rating is a little off.

I get bore quickly so I pushed the envelope more than I should. The only plane that I'm "babying" at this time is the EF 60 Extra EXP and the only time she goes below 50 feet in on approach for landing. The man-cave has quite a few broken planes and helis in need of repairing but I'm having too much fun flying the Blade 130X on 3S.

I think a 12S 150mah would work for a great setup with HS65MGs!
