You also have to take into consideration the increase in motor cost too. Granted it is not that much but it does add up. Luckily they use the same servos so that helps the costs.

So I THINK the 40" will do alot better. That is what I am hoping for anyway.
I have the Houseki SBach that is made by Skywing (same factory that makes the EPP 3DHS birds) and it is 40" http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1586679
. It flies great! I think 40" is perfect for the full fuse EPP birds but I have not tried a 48" yet. Do not let me 71" AJ Slick hear this but the SBach is my go to plane right now. It is small so it fits in the car easily, takes a variety of batts, I use 1000's, 1300's and 1550's, and is very durable so I tend to fly it lower then most of my other planes. I have a feeling that the Edge will fly just as good if not better then my SBach and that is one reason why I am so excited. The other is that it will be my new night flier and to be honest I am kinda getting tired of my old one.
Bring on the EPP Buck Huck!
