Whats more annoying to me is an "I will take it, can you hold it until I have money?" Followed by: "I found a better price, or I decided I dont like it after all."

A lot of these types of issues could be resolved if the person as some have said stated same day payment. Just as well they do need to include their payment information.
That's a two way street, but at least a lowballer will have to pay advertised price.
A recent purchase of mine on the forums was similar .I made contact and checked numerous times that day for a response. I worked 10hrs the next day and was stated as relisted because of no response from me. I did follow up and did get the deal.I could have sent info along with the post to let him know.
Communication is key for both parties.

In the old days, all these rants stayed in our heads. People have it so good nowadays they don't even realize it.

Time zones play a big part in how long I will wait for a response.

I also mention when I PM someone about buying their Item that I work third shift, so if you don't hear back from me after getting the details that is why, but I will check back in the A.M..

All is good, users who were truly interested in the item/items paid right away and will be getting their items by tomorrow for I ship the very next day (weekends are the exception), which brings me to another rant! People who wait for paypal transfers to their bank to clear before shipping! oh wait.. never mind I wont start anymore trouble .

I guess that is up to you, since you are the seller! I think same day is reasonable. If you are that desperate to sell something and can't wait, then no loss to me....my money is good wherever I decide to spend it!
To add on to what WW2C said.

I have waited for over 24hrs for a reply from a seller after saying I will take it and sending a PM and getting the "i still have it reply" grom the seller. just as you never know if the buyer sent posted then went back to other things, a seller can easily do the same.

Thanks for digging up a post from 4 years ago so we can waste our time reading page one before we realize what you did.

Another thing that gets me is when I post positive trader rating, and I KNOW they've gotten notification that they received it, but the person never bothers to reciprocate.

Rcgroups has lots of nice buyers. But just a few tire kickers. Don't lethink them bother you. Just move on to the first buyer who is willing to send the payment asap

Could not agree more with you! I can't stand how people want you to hold something for them then all of a sudden when the day that person agrees to buy it backs out ....

Now i just let who ever is interested know that i will not hold the plane if they are not ready to buy. Nobody likes to get there hopes up for nothing.
