Looking good, Alby. I added this model to my build list and hopefully someday I will get to it. I was thinking, though, that I would turn the two sub rudder skids into sort of wheel pants much like the...err...fuselage (i guess) is so that it would be sort of reverse tricycle gear. What do you think? At least one of the wheels would need to be steerable though.

You can do it! However the model, as it is, should take off without problems

I wasnt too worried about the take offs, but it seems to me that if you are taking off from an asphalt runway that skids would get worn out quickly, even with some sort of wire or something instead of skidding on the balsa.

Also, have you considered entering this beaut in the 2012 old timer build off competition?

I'm not surprised it is slow Albyone, you really do tackle some challenging subjects! Lovely work.

Good progress Albyone. I'm still impressed by the compound curvatures on the leading and to a lesser extent, trailing edges. Wonderful.

I started the construction of the fuselage.
A square aluminum tubing covered with balsa wood. inside must pass the cables to the servos. The original was all balsa fuselage.
