Disabling gyro on MCX brick.(how?)
I want to use this in a small powered glider. Any assistance would be appreciated.

That isn't possible. If you are intent on using the board on a glider, I don't see how the gyro would hurt you. If you want just the gyro for your glider, stand alone units are cheap.

I've noticed on trying this on a larger co-ax board that the throttle doesn't seem to get full power.I'm sure that I've seen that the gyros' can be shut down by popping off the gyros'cover..??

The gyro on the MCX is just a small chip on the board. If you can even identify it, you are way ahead of most of us.

On a coax mixer the ESC always has some reserve (below 100%) to allow for rudder commands. Removing the gyro will not change that. Nothing will.
