The timing issue with NTM motors should be fixed in the lastest SimonK firmware.

Is this a good setup? Will the draw be less than 20A or do you suggest me to go for 30A?
Thanks!
Im flying the same motor on 4s 8045 props, 30A esc, runs really great, will try 9047 props when i get a chance to hopefully extend the flying time.

I can confirm these work great with the latest simonk firmware.

anyone else? but after 2sec, that seems like a ESC/motor issue. is this only one motor, or all of them? are the ESC/ESCs hot?

Escs are not hot! But all the motors do. Would it help if i put bigger prop? Like 11"? Would that extend battery life too?

Btw, i replaced all the shafts because it was installed backwards...making the props higher than usual. I never knew about the prop adapter that i should have bought along with the motor. I'm using a collet type prop adapter.

Will that make the difference?

How much is your total weight? And what's your setup? A hexa or quad?

i got 4 of this on f450.

with 9X4.5 and 3S, They are powerful but make too vibration for onboard camera.
Ball bearings are very low quality .

in all case, that's great motor for accro quad.

Did a test today without the gopro, gimbal, landing gear, accesories. Flew it in 2mins and the motors are quite warm. Flying weight is 1.7Kg. Will test again with everything in two mins to see if it's still hot. I just weigh the extra payload and it is just around 700grams making it 2.4kg in total. Is that bad? If i do the math, the load is only 400 grams per motor.
