Hi all, i really like this design i come up with, although this first knock up is a bit rough, still a work in progress but i think its going to be a real nice flier, i changed the profile when making it, it could be cleaner.
I was thinking "fish out of water", but i am interested in any other ideas, and also any helpful criticism is appreciated,

Doesn't it need to be yellow with black stipes (or black with yellow stripes depending how you look at it). Nothing a paint-brush couldn't fix I 'spose

I like it! I was thinking lawn dart or something similar. Jokes! But anyway 62 pilot is right unless you balaced with C.G. exactly in the centre of the wing but that will be quite unstable with such small throws.

Thanks guys, wasp does sound cool, i only have black and yellow paint on hand so i just put some stripes on it for shits and giggles, i might try and make it look better.
With the stab areas is there a desired size they should be, now i look at it the vertical stab, it looks small, it would have been alright if the fuse didnt wrap around it, and with horizontal stab, the bottom of it is a lot larger than what appears on top, does that make a difference? The control surfaces are exactly the same size as my first scratchbuild which flew as a 3 channel and it flew so good - i should have learned on it, but this ones wingspan is 50mm longer and the chord is 20mm longer, the elevator is 35mm by 220mm, the rudder is 35mm by 80mm and the wingspan is 900mm by 160mm,

Just been out the front doin taxi tests and can confirm the rudder works really well and the elevator has more than enough authority, it wont be 3D but will be fine.

Looks like a neat one. I will say it does look like the vert stab is a lot smaller in relation to the plane than in the drawing. Tho may just be a wierd angle shot thang. But if it is a bit on the small side, the rudder control surface may function well enough but the really small vert surface may have some wierd affects on its stability in certain attitudes.
Maiden will tell. If I may throw my 2 cents worth of advice in, try to get it up high before doing to much with turning and what-not. At least what we like to call a few "mistakes" high.
