OK Ace, you wanted rivets. Here they are. Around all the windows and gun ports.
Also got the paint started. I'll let this dry awhile since I need to make a run to the paint store. I'm about out of med green and olive green.

Now don't you feel better about doing those rivets. Adds a little more eye catch...

I don't think I would drop down to 220 grit you run the risk of sand scratch swelling on your final finish . it's a PITA but just keep sanding ! 145 days on one build is a new record. But I think it's your best. !

I didn't have to go with 220. If I had I probably would have lost all the panel lines. It was a job but finally finished them up.

Working on the med green now. Masking is a real pain, esp at this size and SEA camo.

Thats a good one. Why do you think that I placed hundreds of them for. Yep... Distracts the eyes from the screwups. Your canopy looks amazing.

Thanks but the canopy doesn't fit as well as it did before the flying tent struck it. It broke the starboard window section in the nose and I guess I got it a little warped when I glued it all back together. I was thinking about doing a whole new canopy plug and taking another shot at it but after all this time........ I dunno. The nice thing is that the green/black break is right there and it might hide it some.
I will get the olive green started in the morning.

oh boy she's looking awsome ...this one could go to "top gun" and score well.if it would fly on those 4 bladers it would do well .

She will be flying on the four bladers AS. I think dropping down to 5 cells will put the rpms right where we want them, around 8,000. I'll be doing some testing later on the power system.
Too bad the 119 didn't fly on two bladed props because she flies awesome on the 16x10s and 6 cells!!!!

Lines and rivets look great under that SEA camo. You have to be glad that part is over with all that area to cover.
