Thanks guys
Dave, I just start with a smaller bit and slow speed on the drill. Work the bit size up to what you want. J |

Finished up the door details and mounted them all. Added the air deflectors and small scoops above the minigun windows. The Gatling guns don't have them. Mounted the minguns and Gatling too. Still need to tweak a couple of gun angles to get them all lined up well.
Finally glued the clamshell doors together solid and then glued that assembly on the fuse. I also started pulling the windows until after painting. J |

Thanks heli,
![]() Woody, Haven't much room up there for a cockpit and crew because of the batt placement but I have an idea to get around that. Stay tuned. ![]() Herbert, That's right, now it's a gunship! Larry, Not sure about the bullet that gets you but you for sure you could hear the 119 coming. ![]() Glued the clamshell door hinges on, Doppler radar housing on the bottom of the fuse, Made the GTPU (Gas Turbine Power Unit)exhaust housing and glued into the starboard side. I gave the damaged areas of the jet engine a coat of epoxy to protect from the bondo and then repaired the areas. It has since been sanded smooth and primered. J |

Hi J: I've only posted a couple of comments on this thread before but felt I had to respond to the build.
You have to STOP doing this right now, your making us all look really bad!!! Hehe. Just kidding, incredible workmanship, skill and patience. I try but lack all three to some degree day to day. A lot of it has be a natural talent. Thankyou for showing us all the way it should be done. Doug Bartley |

Details continue........
Scoop on starboard side of the fuse. Battery door, low on starboard side. Working on the motor front, will need some airbrush work later on to tone it down a bit. Moving to the middle section, lots of work there left to do. J |
