Just spectacular, great landing too! Please be sure to post a link to the next project at the end of this one I'm glad all the power system stuff was sorted out too, she seems to fly with authority.

Appreciate the nice comments guys.

The gunships are starting to get my attention. We were talking about the C-47 yesterday. Maybe sometime down the road.

dag,
It isn't nearly as complicated as your B-36. Stay on that puppy, I want to see it fly at SEFF!

We now know what it needs to fly well. Just a balancing act on motor/batts in order to use those 4 bladed props. We'll get it worked out soon.

Packing to leave Las Vegas now. Grueling 3 day road trip back to my shop. The 119 is packed safely and ready to go!

John,

I just looked increasable in the air and looked like the real thing flying. Canít wait to see how you detail it. Is there any other picís from your other builds out there?

The Buck 19 flew great ..as excepted and the gear doors and retracts worked great ....may need brakes ,but at seff it will be a piece of cake .be safe and keep us posted.

Congrats John, she is beautiful in the air. Looks like a real easy flier as well, what a greaser in the end of that video.

Yes, the 15.5x12 are four bladerd and the 16x10 are two bladed.
Getting ready to run my final test and I'll post those results a little later.

J

The rule of thumb when using multiblade props is to increase the diameter and pitch by 1 for each additional blade. So, your 16x8 4-blader is more like an 18x10 2-blade prop. The 15x5.5 4-blader is close to equivalent of 17x7.5 2-blade prop. This is the source of your amp numbers...
The ESCs will go before the motors is my bet.

Plane looks great, pictures so far as well...
