Wen Mac P-26
When I was a kid, I had a Wen Mac P-26 (with throttle).
I could never get it to fly very well (it acted almost as though it was tail heavy). I found it to be very difficult to fly (amost impossible).
I had been flying the Testors/Wen Mac P-38, P-39, Duantless, T-34 Spotter, SNJ, the Cox P-40, Stuka, P-51, Corsair, etc. with no problem. Even flew the Testors BD-5 with no problem (although it did not fly well, IMHO).
Is there anyone here who had/flew the P-26 with no problems?
I have recently acquired a new one (which I have no intention of ever flying, it will life out its days in a glass case), but was thinking of finding the mortal remains of my original one, repairing it, and trying to fly it again.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Also, does anyone know what happened to the Wen Mac tooling?

I had one back when they came out in 1965, never flew it. I think it was Wen-Mac's last offering before the sale to Testor's, terribly unscale looking with the long nose etc.
