The Delta fans are very good and are well made. I don't have the 480, but am using a pair of 70mm V15's in my Airbus A320.

Do you think I would still get a decent flight time using 2 of those on a single 3S 3300? I had one in my old eflite f16, have the V15 in my F86 and they always sound good, but am worried that it would bring me down to about a 3 minute flight at most

As you probably know, a lot depends on the motor that you put in it....

With each motor drawing over 50A, yes, very short flight times..a bit of an overkill, IMO

This one might be better suited.... http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...0kv-EFLM1340DF

what does the current system pull? It's hard to get new fans if you don't know the specs of the old ones!

http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...0kv-EFLM1340DF okay, so I was thinking putting one of these in the V480 would be a suitable power system for this plane, what is your opinion bamaguy?

Correct...I think the supplied ESC's are 30 or 40amp...so my guess is around 30amp motors?? I don't have my assembled far enough to measure current (maybe tomorrow).

I'm sure some will chime in with motor data before I can

I think the 3800kv would be a good choice....much closer to stock, but better quality

Can you show me a pick f what you are referring to Ming ("T-style battery plug")? That's I think what I use on all my models, including 737 with no issues whatsoever...

Also, couldn't I just upgrade the ESCs to a higher rating and solve any issues?

Yeah, when I saw it only takes about 20-40 amps, I felt like it would be a better match, still in search for the fan unit though

He may be referring to the Chinese copy of the real "Deans" plug. The real Deans are rated for up to 90amps. I have never had a problem with genuine Deans.

Most of my connections use XT60 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Nylon_XT60_Con

nectors_Male_Female_5_pairs_GENUINE.html NEVER had any issues with them!

I just received some 90amp rated XT90's for future use... http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Nylon_XT90_Co

I have read the ESC's provided with the kits are Hobbywing. I have a Hobbywing ESC programmer that I will use. Is there an online manual for the 30 A esc you provide with the kit can I assume it's the Hobbywing Fun Fly 30 A ESC. I want to be sure the ESC is compatable with the programmer can you provide detailed data on the ESC?

Thanks
Ron
