If I cannot get this plane to take of from grass can anyone suggest an alternative power upgrade to give it more ummmffff, it did not appear to be quick at the end of the runway, this was also suggested to me by on lookers

Wow. Guess I better double check my struts too. Mine seems like it took a long run on the runway before It lifted off. Can see it in the video. But other than that seemed like it had enough power. Flew most of the flight at about 2/3 throttle. Probably could have cut back on the throttle a little but it was nose heavy so I just kept the speed up. Flew mine with a Turnigy 3s3300 30-40c discharge battery. Never flew off of grass so don't know what that's like.Glad yours is still intact. took me three trips to the field before I could get mine in the air. First trip I had a loose connector in one of the motors. Flight cancelled. Second attempt one of our fellow club members had a medical emergency and had to be taken to the hospital. When all was done the wind had come up and was too windy to take a chance. Third times a charm and it flew!. keep us posted when you do maiden it.

I have an on board from today I will put up later. This plane moves around a lot, the video will show just how much it rocks side to side. It rocks so much that it pulled itself from a left hand turn. It is pretty much fly on a perfect day, that is also cool, to eliminate turbulence. Unfortunitely where I fly has alot of tree's etc, so there can be quite a lot of turbulence around.

Yep, I assumed the screws in the strut base were holding it to the wing, I was obviously wrong, I had 5min epoxy at the field, so mine was fixed pretty quick lol. I am also having a nightmare of a time trying to get the nose wheel on. I just can't tighten the bloody rear grub screw.

Yep. Thinking of getting myself the 787 kit. I can use the motors and ESC's from my 737's since I made them where they can easily be removed and swapped to another plane.
Checked my LG on the 777 today. Tried pulling on it real hard and it would not come of so must be ok. Like the saying goes- If it aint broke dont with it!. I still went and ran a bead of thin CA around the base. Just for a little extra insurance.

Spudz take the plastic arm off the sevo you can then spin it around more, I still had to trim back my allen key to get in there

HF I ordered my second B787 the first is 98% done just need's the nacelles modified and attached, but like you I have young grand kids to look after at times so thing's don't always go to plan

Yep gotta take care of the kids first. I'm going to order the 787. Too bad Ming doesn't have an option of ordering just the kit and landing gear. Don't need any of the electronics or fans. Might just order the plain kit and add on the gear separately. How do you like your 787?
Just pulled the trigger and ordered a 787 kit from Ming. Now I'm going to have three 737's, one 777, and a 787 in my airliner fleet!

It's a very nice scale looking AC, I made one piece wing's same as with the b777 and my a320, well worth the effort I think

you make the Boeing 777 & 737 & this was a Boeing project they decided not to build and MPX picked it up and produced it for a wile and they have stoped making it now and The demand for this plane is climbing and a lot
of people on here are looking to find one to fly sounds like an opportunity
to me ....just saying ....
