Cool
Parkzone Stinson Reliant SR-10 PnP

Several weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to fly this Stinson Reliant SR-10 and really enjoyed it. Though it's only been on the market two years, I recently discovered that the PnP version of the Parkzone Stinson Reliant had been discontinued from Horizon Hobby. Fortunately, I found one in a local hobby shop and had to get one! I added a 9 gram servo for the flaps and painted the prop silver and all hardware white. I'm flying it on a 11.1 2200mAh and love it. Get it while you still can!

Here's a few photos.

Best,
Tony

Xplane, I was extremely disappointed in this model. It has a wicked tip stall that I find very annoying. Just wondering if you have flown it enough to have experienced what I am talking about.

I have 6 flights on it and have had no issues with tip stalling. I use 20-30 degrees of flaps on the approach and she slows beautifully with a very nice touch down.

I think it flies great! More stable than the E-flite Ultra Stick 25 I normally fly. We zoom around with it all day (well 6 minutes) at 1/2 throttle, never any tip stalls making scale rate 1 turns. I haven't set up the flaps yet.

I built this plane for a friend of my son, then set it up to fly with my DX-7. It flies well on a TP-3S-2200-20C LiPo

because the scale landing gear is a bit dicey, we takeoff from a smooth paved road, then land it back in a grass field.

320Pilot-Thanks for the feedback and great photos. I've flown it off a smooth runway and a rough dry lakebed with no issues. The SR-10 is a fun model of a classic!

Best,
Tony
