Plug it into an empty port and you're good to go.

Do i need to disconnect the red wire coming from the esc into the receiver since both the esc and ubec plug into the receiver or do i need to connect the ubec at all and just connect the esc into the trottle channel. Thanks

Yes you have to take the red wire out from the esc

The ESC has 3 wires that go to the ch 3 on receiver and the UBEC has 2 wires that you plug into a empty slot on your receiver or use a Y connector to any Channel. The red wire thats coming out of the ESC had to be disconnected. You can take a X-acto blade and lift the tab on the connector and slide the red wire out or you can just cut it. Know the esc and Ubec will have 2 wire each going to the receiver
