Sold
Droidworx AD8 HLE

I'm going to get back into giant scale planes and don't wish to hit the bank account too hard. Selling off my latest Droid build to assist in the funding.

Everything was purchased brand new in May 2012, except the AV200 which was purchased new in June 2012. Never been crashed or even landed too hard. This flight controller is very smooth.

NOTE:
the YS-X6 flight controller has been sold.

AV200 Gimbal which was purchased from aerialtechnology.com the middle of June is available for $825 shipped USPS Priority mail to anywhere in the CONUS.

The Frame, without the Gimbal and Flight controller is available for $1700 shipped to anywhere in the CONUS. As it is built, it would cost you $2200 for this frame, motors and esc's, etc
That would include the AD8-HLE, 8 avroto's, 8 40amp platinum Pro speedo's, the extra plates that have been installed, props, ubec, and an LED light kit.

I will keep the video TX, RX, Monitor, and router.

This is what you get:

Droidworx AD8 HLE (Heavy Lifter, Extended Landing Gear)
http://www.aerialtechnology.com/shop...lift-extended/

8 Avroto 2814-11s
http://www.uavrotorking.com/avroto-m2814-11s

8 Hobbywing 40amp Platinum Pro esc's
http://www.hobbypartz.com/07e-c-platinum-40a.html

The frame has two additional AD8 Heavy lifter plates installed. I use extra plates to allow for a cleaner installation with more levels to hold the electronics and cables.
http://www.aerialtechnology.com/shop/center-plate-8-for-ad-series-heavy-lift/

Customized multiwiicopter Voltair power distribution board with two battery leads. This has been enhanced for the power draw by using heavy guage wire to connect the pos to pos leads and the neg to neg leads.

8 APC 12x3.8 SF props

Turnigy 3/5amp 5/6v ubec for the gimbal servo power.

2 gens ace 3800mAH 4s packs
2 Turnigy/flightmax 4s 5000mAH packs

IF you are out of the country and wish to purchase this, I will ship internationally, but you will have to cover the cost of a FEDEX custom box/packing job and full shipping costs. You would also be responsible for any VAT/Import taxes. You should also have awesome feedback on RCG, be fully paypal verified

I will have to partially disassemble the airframe for shipping.
Not down to every nut and bolt, but enough to fit into a decent sized box and be well protected.

See my feedback for some high dollar transactions. Rest assured, you will get your item well packed and timely.

The sale would be final. No refunds because you can't figure out how to fly a multirotor or don't know how to create a wifi connection with your android phone.

Having said that, I will assist you as best I can to get you in the air. But I don't want to hear about a paypal refund because your wife or girlfriend found out how much this toy cost. LOL

Off the market.

I am going just the opposite I want a heavy lifter and I am thinking of selling off some of my planes like my Extreme Flight 110 YAK 120DA and My 36% Sbach 111dle. But I do see some funds coming in a month so I may go after a Cinestar 6. I am just undecided.

Hi,

What kind of flying time do you get with this set up, and what is the range on the wifi?

flying time depends on the batteries used and the payload.

If no camera/dslr, with the 3800mAh packs in parallel, you get 9 minutes with about a minute to spare

With a 550D/T2i, you get about 7 minutes flight time with a minute in reserve

If using the dual 5000mAh 4s packs, add a minute and a half to 2 minutes to each flight time.

The range on the wifi is approximately what you would get with any sort of wifi connection. Having said that, I have not had any Line of Sight wifi drop outs when taking it out several hundred feet, but of course if flying around obstacles, wifi range is reduced.

$850 for the FC alone
$850 for the AV200 which is brand new, but has approx 4 flights in use.

$1700 for the airframe, motors, esc's. You just add your FC and gimbal.

I'll hang onto the other hardware.
