Identify this plane (skill level: expert)

This will be a tough one, because I only have a picture of a tail and wingtip that is peeking out from the rafters at my friend's house.* He has no recollection of what it is. However, for as little as you can see, what you can see is very distinctive. Note the full flying t-tail, which actually hangs forward of the fin's leading edge. I've never seen anything like that before, so I figure if anyone has ever seen this feature, they'd be able to ID right away!

* And it's too much of a pain to pull it down from the rafters.

PMP Challenger 2. Great flying little 2M, circa early 1980's. Plans still available from RCM. I have had 2, one a kit, the other scratch built.

Found some pix of a kit in the For Sale section, http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1416754.

I have a PMP Challenger Kit in my collection. It is a "T Tail" rather than a cruciform tail.
The "2" refers to the size of the plane (2 METER) rather that the version of the plane.

The wiring looks unsafe. I think a professional electrician is in order...

Yes, but I'm not sure that makes him an electrician

Only about a half dozen National Electric Code violations there...in one junction box.

Strictly amateur. The joint probably has dozens more...they're usually like cockroaches.

He might want to get the wiring fixed before he burns up a perfectly good sailplane...
