how's it coming?

I have almost the identical setup. I purchased the AeroXcraft landing gear with gimble and am VERY pleased with the quality and functionality. I just got my HK KK2.0 board in the mail on Friday and will be replacing the antiquated HK board I started with.

I'm curious what gain settings you have for your KK2.0 board? I haven't taken a maiden flight yet and would like to get a ballpark for what settings give good steady hovering results. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi Will,
I'm just done assembling. I did the simonK firmware flash on the F30a escs. I am planning to go stock settings but it's raining 2 days now.
The firmware upgrade theoretically allows for higher gains. To be seen.
How are you finding the aeroXcraft gimbal. I was concerned about the cost of the digital servos and few choices that fit the gimbal. there are several complaints about digital servo jitters.
How did you mount your kk board? Did you drill mounting holes? Also if you did, did you use nylon standoffs?

I got exactly 4 flights out of it and 1 video before a crash caused it to burst into flames. I had gains in the 160-165 with high I gains over 100. I don't remember the yaw gains. Pretty high too.
Sorry I don't remember more specifically.
Make sure you don't have any sharp solder joints on the power distro that can pierce the battery.
