I just tape mine in place. Makes it much easier to change motors than with glue.

A few embedded magnets work nicely.

I have mine fairly aggressive. If you have a computer radio program dual rates and see what you like. The actual travel is not that critical for this bird. Just make sure you have enough for the first flight and they are in the right direction.

Flew mine again today with my GoPro 3 attached. Winds were 10 - 15 mph. Flew great with the washers at the bottom motor mount holes. I guess as the commercial goes - "your results may vary" when it comes to setting the thrust line of the motor. I also found that the upgraded canopy will get blemished by sunscreen ( it was in the mid 70s today in Texas !) . I tried cleaning the blemishes off with dishwashing liquid with no luck. Also used windex - no change. If you buy one be very careful!

Love that paint!!! Believe it or not mine is still in it original shipping box, ( unopened ) waiting on warmer weather. I'll have to go back though this thread to see all the fix's and updates before I start the build. I love this plane...

Thanks azzuri,
I started by degreasing the entire plane with soapy dishwashing liquid and water. Then I sprayed Krylon Fusion for plastic as a base coat. Lastly, I airbrushed AutoAir Colors for the flames. I usually do a clear coat as the last step but decided to leave this as is.
