Received my kit on Friday and bought a V1 Dragon Link second hand. I have read much about both but wanted to know if anyone has routed the Rx antenna to one of the wing tips? I assume if one were to do this one lead would protrude up and the other down.

It gets boring these days because the weather really sucks here so I tried to kill some time by painting the wings.

I did this. Used the long antenna sold by DL. Will post pics soon.

Have you gotten yours up in the air yet w/ the FPV gear?
I have flown it with full gear and recorded the downlink while flying LOS. Video was perfect and the Penguin flew great despite being out of trim.

So, for the DL antenna I ran the cable through the wing using the servo holes and glued it upright with a plastic straw on top and let it dangle on the bottom.

I run my DL antenna through the wing. I secured the top wire in a pushrod tube and the bottom is in an unsecured pushrod tube so that it stays straight but can also flex up on landing.

Works well for me.

That's the best-looking Penguin I've seen so far!
