Typhoon or Hurricane - whats the difference?

In the west they are Hurricanes, in the East, Typhoons - in the lower lattitudes, Cyclones.

But whats the difference?

Quite a lot I can tell you...at least between a Typhoon and a Hurricane.

Well we all know the Typhoon right? I designed it a few years ago and there are by now literally hundreds flying, or broken.

In that time it has, and still is given/giving a lot of fun to many flyers.

But like any Evil designer, I always look at my creations and think: what if...

The Fuselage was Lighter, stronger, and stiffer.
The nose was longer so I did not need to use so much (parasitic, useless) weight to balance, and I could have quite a bit more room to put in my radio.
The bellcrank had a bearing and was completely slop free.
Maybe I could have the option to put an elevator servo directly in the fin.
Maybe the wing joiner was a "no worries" monster, as big as that...whats it's name...? Oh Yeah..Schwing.
Maybe the tails were just a bit lighter...
Wings could be moderately DS proof...maybe to 300MPH?

What if we then called it the Typhoon II..or beter yet...THE HURRICANE!

If you like the Japanese wind themes, you could go with Fubuki (吹雪) which means blizzard or if you dissect the kanji it means "blow snow". Basically a snow filled windstorm aka "blizzard".
