I as well as Max I believe, had problems using S.Bus converters. I dont know if the same problems came up using Futaba radios with normal S.Bus recievers. If you already have the equipment you can test it by hooking everything up through S.Bus and going through the S.Bus thread on the AQ forum and using the radio input combinations that caused the problems for us and then looking at your radio RSSI graph and looking for any point where its not 100%.

The problem with SBus is that Futaba has never published any protocol data and all we know, as far as I can tell, stems from one person's analysis of one SBus system a couple years ago. Even an official SBE-1 Sbus adapter didn't work correctly with the AQ for some reason. And now apparently Futaba has new Rxs with SBus2 and SBus, but the SBus output isn't the same as the original SBus (http://forum.autoquad.org/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2068). At the same time, FrSky and Orange have their own SBus "compatible" systems, at least some of which don't seem to work right with AQ either. FrSky is adopting SBus for some upcoming new systems (16 channels!), so I'm curious to see what that actually means in practical terms.

SBus is a great idea, but without an official standard, it's a bit of a moving target at this point. But the older/original Futaba SBus Rxs have been known to work well with the AQ.

Futaba needs to get their sh)t together and understand that multis are here to stay and they may need to let the designers open to the protocol, or we will all be forced to frsky as they give use what futaba will not. You can't go wrong w/ a 9c+frsky module.

Our Chief Developer Bill tagged the latest r76 as v6.6.0 rc1 and Max uploaded new versions for both board revisions in the DL section.

I am using an MX20 Hott and GR 24. No problem. I am in SUM. One output towards the AQ.

Yes, it's working very well. In fact the MX20s have some advantages over other radios.

Thanks. I had read reports of some ppm glitches in previous GW but it sounds like all is good now. I do love graupner telemetry with MK so nice to see it on AQ.

I use MX20 + GR24 + SUMPPM with autoquad and it's works fine.

I also have to add in the code r76 the possibility of connecting a receiver in mode SUMD

SUMD = serial connection use between the receiver and the AQ (available in the last HOTT version)

Furthermore with a MX20 you can use the addon Mav2Hott.
