http://www.bevrc.com/g10-stand-alone...opro_p497.html which is pretty good BTW for the price. BUT, yours is like Zenmuse, so definitely looking forward to get more information and price! |

Thanks!
Credit is not to me, but to Alex Moskalenko who designed the controller and software, and SebastianJ who designed the Gimbal. We do plan to make versions for bigger cams too. Controllers, motors and gimbal(s) will be made available on Viacopter and Flyduino "soon". Price will be as Sebastian says "affordable" - which in other words is "as cheap as we can make it as soon as we can get it" - thats as close as I can get for now. It is simply gonna depend on the production cost and time. But things are set into motion already - IŽll keep you posted. This was the very first prototype we built and we learned a few things that will be incorporated in the final design of controller and gimbal. Apart from SimpleBGC, there is no official name for it yet, the other one was just a joke and a cute nickname... IŽll put up some video of the gimbal itself in the coming days. Rusty, IŽll be sad to see you go - are you sure you are not overestimating how much time is actually needed to set up an AQ. Most of the time is waiting for the freeze/thaw sessions and calculations to complete, and you can do other stuff (like building your copter) while waiting for the freeze/thaw cycles to complete. The rest of the setup does not take a lot of time...and you get ample reward in the end. Oh and BTW: We have a lot of interesting stuff in the AQ pipeline: Live telemetry is already working in a dev version, Wifi, and "move with me"/"follow me" is beeing tested. GCS also got a major overhaul by Max and Peter, so it now looks stunning and works better than ever before. Video overlay will come next. So stay tuned...we are still very much alive and kicking...

There IS a significant learning curve with any unfamiliar FC board, but the bigger problem is my lack of time to play. I essentially have two full time jobs now, plus a lot of other hobbies and interests, so it's better to let these go to someone who will actually use them, rather than have them laying around collecting dust. Cheers, Rusty |

Maybe you should keep one set?
![]() A pity to see you go, Rusty! But I fully understand the situation: you can't have too many projects at once. Each one will suffer from the lack of time. Your offer is great btw. Compared to EU prices you'll more or less be giving away the ESCs for free.

![]() Aside from the gimbal performance, I've been almost haunted by the smoothness of the copter itself in that video. I cancelled the sale, and will find time to at least get one of these flying. Thanks, Rusty |
