I have Futaba 10ch with genuine R6108SB receiver. Can I directly attach it to Autoquad, or I need convertor to use it? And did I need to use 5V external pin to power it, or 3.3V is enough?
This is the adaptor I used. I am using 5v from one of the motor connectors just to be on the safe side. My 6203sb powered and seemed to work fine with just the adaptor but I didn't feel safe with the 3.3v.

I got to put over a hour of flight time on mine today even did a few missions If I can figure out the mission landing I will make a video and post. I am very happy with my AQ6 its flying stock settings and the wind was 10-15mph gust and she flew around like it was dead calm.

As far as I know there is no code support for VN200, only for VN100. (VN200 is 3200 dollars for a thermal calibrated unit, so I doubt many will find it interesting, anyway)

It will still use the onboard GPS unit. And you will have to make a daughter board for the VN100 or remove the onboard analog IMU and its support components.

If you do the calibration properly, you wont get a better result with a VN100 - at least that is what I am told...but you may want to post the question on the forum, where Steve or Bill will see it - they are the only persons I know that have used the VN100.
Thank you Jussi

If you are looking for a precalibrated unit, I can build a complete ARTF (no radio) hexacopter for you for less than 3200 dollars....
I need to get with you I am working all the time on the road but really wanting to build something out side the box and yes I know the price on these units yet they are commercial grade. Send my a PM and lets talk about a setup calibrated deal money at this point is not the show stopper.

So, this adaptor needed with all Futaba receivers?

Its interesting, why link on it is not displayed on the product page... I didn't knew that I need it when making the order, and now need to wait another 2 weeks

You will still have to do the Calibso, since that is a integral part of the whole calibration and vital for getting the scale and bias corrected for your particular board.

All sensors are fused in the UKF, so you cant "turn off" individual components of the IMU.
As of firmware v6.6 r37 , Alt hold will not work reliably without gps lock.

DVE, hang in there
It will be worth it.

Got to another milestone today
Auto take off
Now to test waypoint navigation.

The signal invert cable is required for all sbus receivers. I found a post on the AQ forum where someone tried it. I thought I would take a chance because its alot easier to purchase the skookum in the U.S. plus it also has the spectrum end that I would have had to purchase somewhere else.

Do I need to use the power connector delivered with the AQ or can I just solder a normal JST connector?

Can't wait...

Thanks

Thank you.
It must be displayed on the product page in the shop with red letters, anyway

Btw, Naza or Wookong don't require any hardware converters.
