Here's a clip from a recent backyard gimbal tuning flight with a 3kg quad.
GoPro velcro strapped to a cheap direct drive gimbal.
Flight was in Line of Sight.
It's a good start I think!
No audio and unprofessionally produced

yard flight (2 min 41 sec)

I'm using YS-X6 and I really like it, but I want more...

My question. I understand the BETA status of AQ6, but I want to know if it is possible to use AQ6 right now in a HL Octo fully loaded (fpv, cameras, gimbal etc) and get results from it. I mean, really use this FC for professional AP.

Simple example of Skyjib + AV200 + YS-X6:

That's a beautifull backyard.

I see it was post-stabilized, but it doesn't matter, I know AQ6 is superior in comparison of all the FC right now, but I want to see it in a AP OCTO. I don't want to see the first one.

Thanks

Thank you.
Here's raw video off the onboard cams on a gusty afternoon. Only post is the overlay. Please see Youtube video description for info.
My point is if I can do this with a cheap quad, cheap gimbal and a so-so camera; I'm certain a good camera, good gimbal and well set up Octo will produce much better results.

Nice yard flight, Felix!
If the GoPro wouldn't bend the horizon like it does, the outcome would have been good enough for a short real-estate video.

I stole Felix' raw video and sent it through the YouTube stabilizer for a comparison with pretty acceptable results:

Sure ... a better camera and gimbal would give you much better raw material to work with...

Xbee link to copter, bluetooth link to PC or Android. Saves a lot of trouble dealing with USB-cables in the field.

The RC is in 2.4 Ghz and the Xbee link to copter also un 2.4 Ghz ? No interferences ?
I think to do that also if no interferences.

No interferences.
Also not with WLAN, GSM, BT ... they all operate in the 2,4 GHz band.

The difference between a quad, a hexa and a octo is the more engines the more stable. You wouldn't be the first one. This is a toy I built a while back and it's being flown on V6.2. It is overloaded with the paintball gun, bottle and balls. Sorry for the poor video quality. Ask jesolins if it fly's ok.

OctoGunship.mp4 (0 min 35 sec)

Edit
Here's a little better video
Octo2Gunship3 (1 min 44 sec)
