What is the best overall flying 400 speed plane available

I have a Zagi and a Skimmer 400. Both are okay, but is there better. I like areobatics, but the Zagi is not the ideal areobat in my book, (I used to fly allot of glow), although I love the durability. The skimmer 400 is pretty good for just lazy flying, although a bit heavy as far as I'm concerned. Do you have any thought's. I am thinking of making some type of uglystick/funfly of my own design.

check out the Extra 300S or the Staudacher S300 from the DAW Website and do a search here on them, everyone seems to love them and say there the best for the price. I don't have one yet but when I'm ready for a plane that Aerobatic I'll be getting one, they sell for $50 for the kit and the website has a ton of tips on putting it together.

I have a speed 400 fun fly model that flies very well. It is my own design for a 6v motor and 2:1 gear drive. The flight characteristics are exactly like a glow fun fly model. Everyone has their own opinion of what "best" is, but as you say aerobatics, then the DAW foamies mentioned above, followed probably by the X250, would be the most appropriate choice.

I sure enjoy flying my geared model air tech Tumblewatt. It can do anything a 3 channel plane can do.
My only real complaint is that the 600ae batts don't provide more run time.
Of course, any sp400 plane on 600ae's will have the same problem.

Just about ANY 18oz or less weight s400 plane can generate satisfaction.. weight is everything.

I like the 1/2 a size skrike. It looks mean and does fast, in your face aerobatics. It also doubles as a pylon racer. watch out for tip stalls !!!

I may be a bit prejudiced as it's one of my babies but here it is. I'll be making up plans and giving a few building classes in this area. It can be built in as little as 4 hr.s, ready to fly. I call it the <a href=http://www.ezonemag.com/disc/Forum3/HTML/000470.html target=blank>PT-400 (Pylon Trainer)</a> but a buddy said that it looks like someone made it out of stuff from the trash (chloroplast) and called it the TT-400 (Trailer Trash)

I had to laugh at that one but this little guy is really tough and goes very well, not to mention the one day building time!
