First try on slope soaring
Hi
I am really excited about, my first try on slope soaring. The slope itself was not anything great, but it did its job. Wind was blowing fast and made me hesitate about the launch, as I could barely hold the plane. Finally, I got it up on air and made a dream come true. Enjoy and share with me my excitement.
Thanks |

Congratulations Mr. Friday
! Once you get that feeling, there's no going back ....(As a fellow citizen of one of the P.I.G.S. counties, I wish you well through these difficult times, which I believe are far worse there than here). |

Well if you can fly on in the slope what is the problem????
I have just discovered DLG by way of a second hand blaster 2, my slope is about 10 feet high and not very steep between 2 football fields, but when the wind blows up it right I can slope on that quite well and it's really quite fun and challenging and then of course a thermal will come along every now and then and I can then change from sloe to thermal follow the thermal and then when it dies out I come back down to my little slope. Unfortunately most of the time the wind is blowing the wrong way! Point is just enjoy what you got and have fun! |
