That said we DO recommend using 3S (or 2S) LiPo batteries with the stock brushless power system installed in Gamma 370 Pro airplanes (same as the optional brushless power system for the standard Gamma 370).
I, myself, have never tried the 3s setup on the brushed motor setup but was told by a good source that it was capable of handling 3s.

I would go by Jason's recommendation as he was and is the Ares main engineer for this plane.

No 3s on the brushed motor. Got it.
Well, Jason has done a marvelous job with the Gamma.
This plane has been and continues to be my personal favorite.

Btw, My flap wing conversion of the stock wing is marginal.
I have too much "slop" at the hinge points and so it flies rather erratically.
The aileron sport wing on the other hand is fantastic!
Flaps conversion on that may or may not happen.
It's so good as it is.

So what is the "Gamma Pro" all about?

My Dad has this plane and I flew it about a month ago.

Wow. It's the best 1000mm (about that) size plane I've ever flown. He has the aileron wing and the brushless power system and this plane is a joy to fly.

I have 20+ R/C planes including some giant scale class and this in my top 5.

Warbirds:
Hurricane Sandy was pretty fierce.
A lot wind, a lot of rain.
But we came away rather unscathed especially compared to what happened to NYC and NJ.
Now that's devastating.

Right now I'm looking to rebuild my Gamma.
My fuselage front end is rather smushed so I'd like to give her a makeover.
How much is the Fuselage? (AZS1215)?
If you have one in stock I just might go ahead and give you the business.
Landing gear/battery hatch cover as well (AZS 1217).
I already have the decal set and will dissect my old gamma to make the new one.
Thanks.

Chino, dont yall have a HTU up your way...im not sure where hamilton va is...You can go on the HTU website and order those parts...off the top of my head (not the best place) I think that fuse is like 26.00$....i do believe it has the battery hatch on it already..no guarantee on that thought ...landing gear is only a few dollars...I really like how inexpensive the parts are for this plane...
Yeah my heart goes out to those folks..in my prayers for sure...DJ

I just hit my local HTU in Winchester.
They had everything I needed.
I'm looking forward to putting her together.

If you feel adventurous, you can try to make an aileron wing out of the Stock wing.
Check out page 13.
You'll need 2 servos, Y extension cord.
Or you can go all the way and make flaps.
It's all layed out for you on the stock wing. Takes about an hour.
