Those videos are awesome guys! I have read that the jet looks faster on video than irl. With that in mind, how would you compare its speed to something like a Pole Cat?

Haven't flown a Polecat before but I reckon the Mig is almost as quick as my Stryker 180.

When I picked my Mig up they had a 130x I was eyeing up as well (need to sale my mcpx and 120sr first to get it though) and the battery was fairly larger then the migs battery, I did a side by side battery comparsion. I didn't think to test fit it though.. I'm using the Hyperion 2s 200mah batteries and it was a perfect fit and CG balanced perfectly as well.

She's not the fastest thing in the sky, but for her size she moves really nicely and is a really pleasant flier. One of if not the smoothest EDF's I've ever flown.

I'll ask this question in a few different threads:

* So now that the Mig is out for those that own both the umx Mig and the micro GP F-86 are they comparable?

1) Which is faster?
2) Which is more stable and smoother flier?
3) Is one more fun then the other?

Just got mine, the rudder locks at full right so i turned down to 90% and it seems fine, doubt i`ll need 100% on that anyway, everything else seems fine.
Bound with throttle trim down (as per manual ) and then centred, i prefer the response with it centred so i`ll leave it at that.

I turned my high rates to 90% before I even did a surface check. Then I binded and did everything and all looked good. Thanks! A little grass patches in it, but it works! Its short for the larger edf's though, with long roll outs.

Just ordered mine today!
Only came out yesterday here in the UK. Can't wait to maiden it if the wind relax's a little. Been windy here for about 10 days. No umx flying for me ,too much for even the beast 3d to handle!
Got some miniaviation 300s on stand by.
Time to buzz the tower! lol

as far as the sabre vs the mig. th Mig-15 hands down faster more stable and faster roll rates which makes it much more fun to fly

and this little guy is not as fast as the Um Stryker. the stryker is much faster on full throttle and can do almost unlimited vertical this little edf has a vertical flight of about 40-50ft before it stahls and heads for the ground but it flies out of the stahl like a champ i would say the stryker is close to 50mph and the little edf might be getting to 30-35mph fast but no comparison to the stryker. but the um geebee is almost the same speed as the mig.

Bit the bullet and picked one up today via Hobbytown USA....

My independent HS only got 2 in and they were "spoken for" so I had to resort to HT USA
who had 6 in stock!!!

Hoping to get in a maiden tomorrow as thunderstorms are filling the air today

Adjustable linkage

Hi all,

was out this evening and did 5 nice flights
Adjusted the linkage elev and aile and now the Mig rolls in line and flies inverted with only few stick movement.
Now for best CG conditions> the eflite lipo pack is in the middle of the frame, heavier lipo packs mylipo.de 240mAh are in backwards position.

The Mig flies also fine in the wind too, was very surprised

Open questions:

- Temperature of the brushless inrunner ?
- why didn't HH use a carbon rod under the Elevator for better stability ?
- 3S would be effect a nose heavy plane ?

last but not least...I will fly without landing gear, better performance and scale visibility in air .

my miglit

Have flown her 8 times now. No lg used, as she looks and flys a lot better. With lg off I get 60-100 feet of vertical. Also of note I took my Alfa Mig15 which is much bigger and runs on a 3S 1800ma pack. Results are that the little miglit fly's a tad faster and is more acrobatic as it has rudder and the Alfa has no rudder. Also compared speed with my mico Straker and Greatplanes F-86 and the Straker is far faster.Speed to close to say for sure between F-86 and Miglit but I like the looks of Miglit better then F-86. This little chatter box Miglit is a blast to fly and is my favorite of the four. enjoy yours. donnie
