I've been away for a few days---After record high temps, a flood over the weekend, and the last two days being pummeled by ice during an ice storm we finally can see the sun!!!...I took the pic of the sunset just moments ago...Looking forward to getting back into the contest hunt!!!...The pic of the flood was taken last spring but it was just the same over the last weekend...

Hopefully there was no damage. Although that is a killer place to fly the CC on floats!

No damage as the engineers earned their pay on this one...The pond in my back yard acts like an overflow basin, collecting water in case of heavy rains...The "outlet" which you are looking towards in the pic allows water to escape but at a controlled rate...All of the houses are built with their first floors at least 12" above the expected water level...The water would have had to get another 12" deep to get into the homes---Which would have been equal to about 20" of rain in a 24 hour period...Not gonna happen around here!!!...Again, the engineers of the neighborhood developement did their homework and nobody had any water in their homes other than a scant amount in a garage or two...Kudos to the engineers!!!...But many had fish washed into their yards which didn't smell all that good when the water receeded...PEW!!!......

The Mig is my 1st HH micro, "hobby grade"plane #3(Dx6i/mx owner). Always loved the fullsize, as an added bonus, it seemed like the most versatile board to go with. i'm gonna destroy it, inevitable. (why my other ar6210-x, 370bl is a pusher with break away nose. been too free to fly hard, survive, easily repair) I'm seeing more MiG purchases for aforementioned reasons, and wondering if a transplant of rx and servos to the GP F-86 (retaining stock f-86 motor and fan) sounds feasible.

The mig still has a better airfoil than the f-86.

But before you destroy her, there's a Mig LImbo contest going on - make sure you at least get ONE entry in!!

If I tried something like that, the entry would likely occur before reaching the stick!

Many mods have been done on the MiG but none as radical as yours!!!...Keep us posted!!!
