My take on WWU's entry....Heck---I can limbo underneath the Golden Gate Bridge!!!......Seriously---GREAT JOB being the first to limbo---And inverted at that!!!...I'm jealous that you were the first!!!...

But I'm sticking with my limbo rig that has an area of about 5.5 square feet.....I'm bound and determined to get the MiG though my limbo rig!!!....Due to the way that my rig is designed I have to be over grass as the vertical posts stick into the dirt...Which is a good thing since I'm too much of a wuss to risk my MiG over asphalt......I want to have a flyable plane after the contest...Never mind that my "normal" flying area is over a pond, around trees, dodging houses, winging it around light poles, etc......

Again---Great job and extra mucho points for being the first to limbo, first to limbo inverted, and having the ball$ to do it over asphalt!!!

Let me try to explain a minor problem I have had with mine for a little while. At neutral both sides of the elevator are level, but when I pull the stick back all the way one goes up farther than the other. The reason for that is that one of the leads that connects to the control rod on one side pushes straight out when I pull back on the stick the other one ends up pushing up at an angle. I have been hard time getting the one that goes at an angle to go straight. Anyone experienced anything like that? Know of any solutions? I have tried a tab of CA to hold it tighter/over a longer area and it doesn't seem to be helping.

Now, that guy's got some flyin' skillz!

If I were judging, I'd give you 250 points for being brave enough to try it over asphalt, 400 points for actually pulling it off, and 350 style points for doing it inverted. However, it's winter. Winter means snow to a Minnesotan, and you appear to have no snow at all. So, I'd penalize you 100 points for every inch less snow that you have on the ground as compared to me. I happen to have 10 inches of the stuff sitting in my yard, so that would be -1000 points, for a total of zero. I highly suggest that you find lots of snow for your next attempt. By the look of that that inverted landing, your vertical stab will thank you.

having the same issue. I just tried to adjust the best I can with the UBENDs and trim
