Ha! That's true! I ordered a can of Deoxit, they called me, only once though, lol. And I got the free candy! Awesome. I got it in less than 48hrs!

It's in England, so the prices are in pounds. Just Google pounds to dollars to figure out the exchange rate.

I've already made one comment in your for sale thread Mav. So I don't want to post there again and turn your fs thread into a discussion, lol. But, I am wondering why the confusion as to whether the E-Flite Mini Mig will bind to a DX6i? Says on the website " binds to a DSMX/DSM2 transmitter", that's what all modern Spektrum are right? Why would it NOT bind to a DX6???

A DX6 is the early Spektrum radio and transmits in DSM mode and not DSM2. The early DX6 will not work with any of the Bind and Fly models.

From the start the DX7 was a DSM2 transmitter. The JR 9303 is also DSM2.

Tried a 3S pack today. Flew like a rocket for about a minute, then lost all power - including controls, and it nosed straight in from about 30ft.

Should be able to straighten with warm water but damn.. It was flying like a rocket on 3S for a minute! I had the biggest grin! hahahaa.. I may try to solder an external ESC on so it can reliably fly on 3S.. Gotta look in to that.

If everything crapped out it wasn't your ESC it was your VR, so an external ESC won't help that. This is rare, at least on the Beasts and Sbachs. A heat sink on the VR has solved the problem in the past. Don't know if that would work or even fit on the Mig.

Think about this... If the esc takes power from the battery and gives it to the motor, diverting some to the reciever, then what happens when the esc stops functioning? The motor and the reviever lose power. He probably burnt up his esc but not his reciever.
