My first attempt at a paint drips. Did it with rattle can paint. I don't paint enough to buy an air brush.

I have a question about 2 pieces of carbon rod included in my Slicko kit. One is 3 1/2" and the other is 4 1/2" in length. Question is ........ where do I put them? Don't say in (my pile of stuff I never can find what I need in there) either. LOL

Hello Dave, The 3 1/2" piece is for the tail skid. The 4 1/2" goes from the horizontal to vertical stabilizer to make them more rigid.

Hey Dave, look at page 56 and post 835...you will see what I did with the 3 1/2 inch tail skid. I made it serv 2 functions, tail skid and lower joint reinforcement. show us pics of your build.

i didnt get to many shots of the plane itself in stills in the event today but here is some shots of other stuff that was there and a flight vid that i took of my friend geno flying my plane. i started recording about 30 secs into the flight you can see how comfortable he was right away. oh and the loud bang near the end was my daughter dropping a gym pad on the floor, scared a few people with that one.

What are your elevator throws? I can't get mine to snap like that on the flips..

Maximum deflection allowed without binding the servo or tugging the tail,45 degrees for sure maybe more. Would have to put a throw gauge on it to be accurate. Keep in mind the throw you get on the ground and in the air can be two different things as well when flight loads on surfaces and servo torque etc come into play more.
