I have built this plane three times so far and have to say that this is the best build for the time. An IPS dual and a 3s pack and this thing is like a missle. It will climb like its on fire and does what ever you want, come to find out it will go from lvel flight into a full outside loop into a inside loop. this plane is great...again this plan is the best easy build ,easy flying plane there is.

Good tell me how to tile.
Anyway the Bird Dog go's brushless. Just a little thing thats been eating up my nights for the past week of so. Its a 20mm diameter outrunner 20 turn about 3/8" thick total in a GWS 100-D gear box turning a GWS 9070 prop and it draws almost 1 amp at full throttle. I'm using the new Pheonix 10 brushless ESC. The gearbox and motor weigh in at 26 grams and it puts out the same thrust as a IPS A on a 9070. Best part, life of the motor should be in the 1,000's of hours. |

No I just bend the wire so it sits even with the horn and then bend a L into the horn and run it long so it doesn't slip out. Do as I say not as I do type stuff.
![]() Yeh I think I'm going to like that micro brushless setup but I don't think I have enough gear in it yet. |

All low temp hot glue except for glueing the 2 fuse sides together.
Just got back from flying and flew a hole hour with one 600ma 7.4v lipoly on my new brushless motor. |
