rc, who did you buy the v202 from? Some sellers may be hard to deal with, but others are very good about fixing problems for customers.

Hi just wanted to share my recent v929 upgrade

The P799 stronger canopy fits exact as do the GWS blades, also plan to add white and red leds.

See before and after pics - as said by others be sure to balance blades (use tape on lighter end) first. Increased lift for 808 camera, no more wobble of death, looks good and flys even better.

Get the P799 Canopy here

Get the GWS blades below;
Orange blades
Black blades

Note: get one CW and one CCW in each colour.

Your moded v929 with the matching canopy and props looks way better than the original. I have a v959 and I'm a believer in the lights for these "old eyes" and the new canopy already has holes for them.

I'm waiting for my canopy to arrive and already have the GWS props installed.

a buck and a half for each prop seems pretty steep to me...
this is no more than a very simple bit of injection molded plastic...
is there a source for buying these for a better price in 4 packs?

Banggood offers a volume discount.

So... Hmmm.. There is no known way to stop the AutoFlip at 100% rates with the Std Tx? That's a Shame.... Because that aside.
It is an amazing little flying machine... Robust and Agile...Flying indoors in a small room on 100% sharpens those skills that may get rusty during poor weather..

es, BG does offer a volume discount... if buying at a merchant level quantity thirty percent might work if you had the volume sales. Still won't work at my level... and they are actually good props that will take quite a few bumps at this power level!

Giving it a bit more thought... ANY merchant selling individual units is probably deserving of a far higher markup!
Basic handling on a small order has got to be costly!

Anyone know where I can get the screws used to attach the blades to the V929?

I had asked here before and I checked, I have nothing of that size. I was looking at either this:

I don't know if either would have screws that work. Anyone know anywhere that sells these screws? I can't find them. I even tried some from an old watch, no good. If you know where I can get something online that would work, please let me know.

L4, I just stripped out an old CD_Rom drive for components. (There's not much of value.)
There's a lot of oddball parts in scrap computers. Especially older ones.
Too much plastic in the newer stuff, and many of the fasteners are integrated.

No those screws are not the same. You can rob a screw from the pc board there are 4 that hold it down. That's what I did.

The one guy I asked on eBay sells CW/CCW sets of 4 for $6.11 shipped and said he would mix and match colors. I would ask him again if he will mix and match for you.

There is not a nickel's worth of plastic in these little props.
All the money is in the machine, the mold, and the labor.
On a large production run they should be very, very cheap.

My LHS sells some of them for less than a buck each, when buying singles.
I'm sure they MUST turn a profit.

We should be able to get these crudely finished e-flite and slow flier props which require balancing very cheaply when bought in sets of 4, 6, or 8 with mailing included.
