Howzeet Chris,

Great slope and flying, looks like plenty of lift there.

Great video and flying Chris! The U.K. = more green, plush slopes per capita. Makes me want to move there!

Thanks!

Your old Miraj has had some of it's best flights ever on that slope!

(ps. Better not let the IRA hear you call the Republic of Ireland "the UK" !).

Thanks so much Rubio! I was just tripping out that day on how beautiful it all was: sadly we have a lot of grey days here ...

Thks Chris, been lurking here for a while tho.

Gmaps says this slope is about 2 hours drive from me , whats the best
wind direction for it?? Might be forced to take a drive sometime.

This works from NW to N to NE. In that way it's similar to the Camp / Caherconree slope (see a lot of the videos on my personal / blog page here), except that it's better if it goes too far east. The Camp slope is the lazy mans' option, as you fly "from the car". It's an extraordinary slope from a lift point of view as well. It's also closer to Tralee. In terms of landing zones, I reckon Glanlough South excels: I think you could even land your monster scalie there. You just need to walk a short distance and climb a fence or two though...

Chris,

You might want to PM my friend Jim (JOKEANE on RCG). He used to work on the development team for Vegas at Sony.
