Can someone help with the meaning of this modes?

GUIDED - Follow a GPS coordinate transmitted by telemetry to Crius AIOP
CIRCLE - Circle a predetermined position
POSITION - No clue
AUTO - No clue
MANUAL - No clue

This is my interpretation. Is it correct?
Isn't there one updated manual with all this?
What is simple mode??

For those using MPNG, please help me:
1- How to assign CH6 to control COPTER_LEDS?
2- How to assign CH6 to control camera shutter?
3- Sonar SR04 can be used connected to D9 and D10? and I2C?
Anyone has experience in this?

PLEASE COMMENT. Are this questions to dumb? Are the answers in some place obvious that I should read before asking? Nobody has this questions?

Is it normal ? Do you all have the same ?

Thank you.
Hi everyone !
I'm updating the status of my issue :
I was unable to fly with the board, big issues on the YAW axis, I couldn't stabilize the multicopter...
I contacted RCTimer support by MSN, and I'm really happy, they are true professionals. We talked 10 minutes, and they sent me a new board to replace the buggy, I received it at the beginning of the week, here is the result :

Hunter VTail 400mm & Crius AIO Pro 1.0 (0 min 57 sec)

Really good RCTimer, thanks a lot !

I know that not many of you here are running Multiwii 2.1 but this question might transfer over to MP?

Assuming I have GPS, what is the best way to setup Aux 1 and Aux 2 switches with three position switches for each. I'm not sure I fully understand all the options yet. Currently I just have Level, Baro and Mag to activate together on one position of one 3 way switch and then "ARM" on a single position of another 3 way switch (technically, at this point they could both just be on 2 position switches). GPS antenna is in the mail so I don't have that option just yet but will soon.

___________SWITCH 1__________SWITCH 2
________pos1__pos2__pos3__pos1__pos2__pos3
Level _________________X
Baro _________________X
Mag__________________X

In any case now i have a new compiling error:
ArduPlaneNG2x.cpp:98:23: error: AP_Limits.h: No such file or directory

(Win7 and Arduino.exe runned ad administrator)
Same error on the first time without original libraries but try with original and ArduPlaneNG2x libraries together.
it worked on my setup

It is really down to personal preference which functions you want to use and on which switches.

With your switch setup at the moment you have a choice between Acro mode or Height + Head lock.

I have mine set:

Two position switch with "L"=Acro "H"=Self Level

Three Position switch with "L"=0 "M"=Height Hold "H"=Position Hold

Two Position switch with "L"=0 "H"=Return to Home

Well okay then, will definitely be going down that road sometime in the foreseeable future

First to get it airborne tho (with as little tampering as possible until I know what I'm doing) so I can get that noob status lifted

I'm sorry, I heard that some USB receptacle of this FC damaged in few used.
Because the number of pads on PCB is not enough.
Now I fix the USB receptacle with glue, make sure it strong enough.
I will fix this problem completely in next edition, maybe in August.

In this test flight the STABILIZE and AUTO mode and the RTL mode has been tested. The video has been shorted due the total duration of the flight and only one closed loop turn has been showed here. The video has been taken with an EVO HD Cam sports video camera. The flight plan has been defined with 6 waypoints (2km turn) and runs in closed loop around the airfield.

The wind was blowing at 11km/h gusting 17 km/h.
Hi
I am using your configuration/ArduPlaneNG2xR5 except the GPS -is LEA6 on the extention board.
I am getting HDOP 9999 and no satellite, so no fix, can you help me?

Hello Mamut,

I haven't yet tested the extension board, but I think that it will work too. I recommend you to test this method for the startup of the AIOP + GPS:
1) connect the power to the AIOP,
2) when the led B is fix while led A and C are off (after that the initialisation is complete),
3) disconnect the power to the AIOP and then reconnect the power.

I think that you will be able to see the yellow (ready) and green (GPS lock) leds on.
I have noticed that the Crius NEO-6 GPS need to be prepowered first so as to get the lock... May be this is due to the lithium battery which is not able to keep the startup info for long time...
I hope this will help you

hey.. there is no slot for a sd card on the crius board which logs all the flight data on an APM 2...any bright ideas asto how can i add an external Sd reader be'coz ...I like this feature and would love to use the blackbox functionality on my UAV quad..anyway I can always analyse the data sent to the GCS via telemetry but..still is there a way to interface a micro sd reader.........
