I need to order some battery packs, and would like to see what options their are. I would just order the 1500mah pack from combat wings but the are slow on shipping, what cells or packs will fit in the XE2, I have the 1100pack which is the sanyo AEL cells, which are slightly shorter then AA. I want to keep with the same size cells so I don't enlarge the compartment , but want atleast 1500mah packs. also I would like to try a differnt prop, so If I can get them from the same place that would be great?

the 1500 batteries are what we recommend. they provide excellent power and great run time. you can use the 1100s which are a little cheaper. there is also an 1800NiMH battery available that has good run time but slightly less power than NiCD (1100s or 1500s).

Cheapbatterypacks are great folks, shipping is quick and prices are great. I look at it this way....the better the prices on the packs, the more you can buy, the more packs you buy, the more you can fly. Have fun...R...

I use Sanyo 8 cell 1950 FAUP packs...full throttle duration on a stock setup is around 15 min...with 480 around 12...with cobalt around 8-10...brushless is 5-6 min. Packs are around $40 a piece if you have them premade, make em yourself MUCH cheaper. I bought mine at www.battlepack.com great service, fast shipping. Highest capacity pack that will fit in XE2...fits rather tight the first few times, will loosen up a little over time, but have never had a pack fall out...as far as props with stock 400 APC 5x5 with prop adapter, 480 6x4, cobalt 6x4, and brushless back to 5x5. Anymore ?'s feel free to PM...been flying mine every poss. day for the past 4-5 months...have tried every poss. combination.
