Guys i am confused is it normal after boot up of the S800 that one of the LEDS of the ESC ( green one / M5) stays on ? Normally they allturn on once the copter is armed ?

Or am I seeing this the first time ? and it should be this way ?

I'm happy with it as well. What are you settings with the gh2 (same as default)?

Did you firmware hack the GH2 as well?

Setting are default as far as you can speak of setting covering the z15.

Japp have the GH2 hacked but not for the first test with the z15. Wanted to concentrate on the z15 und not run into the GH2 freezing up and lost footage etc. which can always happen with the hacks ! So GH2 has the 1.1 firmware for now.

Is it possible to connect a different HDMI source (camera) to the HDMI plug, and get a video signal out from the GCU? Just for transferring the picture....

Hey Boris

I had the exact same problem with one of my arms after replacing the ESC's with the v4 ones.

To fix it I removed the arm, motor and esc screws, and ensured the 4 cables coming from the arm were well spaced, and not touching as much as possible.

Then screwed it all back together and it worked.

Before fixing, the motor would not even arm or spin up.

Any S800 owners in the Sydney, Australia area? I've just finised assembling mine along with the Z15N / NEX7 gimbal and looking for other locals to fly with.

Hoping to make some contributions to this forum once the wind settles down. Brand new toy and can't fly due to 60mph+ winds ouside

As far a I'm remember the OSD was offered to those that suffered from the ESC issues and had to change to ESC V2. The OSD isn't out yet and i an pretty sure once it is we will get the info !

You need to inspect the ESC and 4 wires before flying is my recommendation.

If need be take a look at a known good esc and make sure there are no errors on the 4 wires.
