So I ask my self. Why does this simple, low cost setup handle so much better than this top of the line hexa and controller? I don't know, but it should not be like that.
I am kind of regretting buying the s800, simply because I don't trust it for a second. Therefore I not want to invest another thousands of dollars in a gimbals and camera for it. If it could be trusted, I'd do it right away.
The s800 was intended to be a photo ship, but the f550 already performs that task very reliably for a fraction of the cost.

I'll wait some months and let others be the testers.
Thanks for this. My f550 Hexacopter has given me hundreds of flights with no problems. I keep looking for an excuse to get the s800 but now I'm certain I will not.

But that should worst case result in some toilet bowl, not a crash.
The IMU and GPS offsets are just there to fine tune performance, and are/should not be essential to keep the thing up in the air.

especially, when i'm flying in wood kindda terrain, and i prefer to fly straight ahead, and let operator rotate around, but how? landing gear...

i'm asking of it because it's trouble for me especially that i'm working in filming studio and there is NO option to let anything go in front of lens...

there has to be an option on doing something i bet it....
