Hi all,
Got a quick battery question for the s800 users. I'm looking to get the most flight time out of the S800 so I'm looking for 2 6s batteries with the most mAh to put into parallel. So far I found the Gen Ace 6s 25c 5500 that are the most reasonably priced. But I'm not sure if 25C is the way to go. I'm thinking 40C but the selection is limited and usually by manufacturers that I never used before. For me, this is more of a hobby and I don't see myself opening up a aerial video/photography business so I'm not looking for extremely high end, high price batteries.
So I'm wondering if anyone has flown the S800 on the Gen Ace 25C 5500 batteries and compared it to other batteries with higher C rating. If so please let me know your opinion on the flight time and performance. Was/is there a huge difference?
Also I'm looking for advice from others as to what brand of batteries they recommend and via what reputable vendor they bought them through.
Thanks
Rob

For flight time, lightest solution (not cheap!): http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...2-Pack&cat=363

That also rises a question.. Is it any safer to use 2x5000 than 1x 10000, or does that not matter?

Interesting solution, have you tried it? Does it work well? Would be cool to have 2 red anodized ones and 4 black so it could have the added use of helping with orientation in the day time.

Question for GH2 users: which lens do you use with your zenmuse?
The Lumix G14mm/F2.5 or the Lumix G20mm/F1.7 ?

I flew yesterday and it was pretty cold outside and it was terrible. Other days it will hardly happen at all. I normally would assume the gains are too high but I have tried all different settings and it's still there. I have tried putting the gains on a slider an can get it to go from severe to not too bad but it never goes away. Will covering the arms help this? Maybe mounting the IMU differently? I am using a PS1 3XPro V2 gimbal. I would like to have a zenmuse but the funds don't allow that right now. Here is a sample video showing the problem. The gimbal is taking out most of it but you can hear it.
I think I fixed my problem. I moved my IMU to the top of the frame and it is flying much better now. I still need to do a little adjusting but I could tell a huge difference. It was pretty windy after the change and it flew better than it had been in calmer conditions. Later on it calmed down and it flew very well.

Doesn't really matter (as long as you know what your doing with lipo's).. 2 x 5000 will be a lot cheaper!
