What broke in the crash? Still assessing the damage but so far 3 Arms / 3 Props and 2 bi-pod drawbars

First thing first is to test V1 or V2.

Sounds as if you have the RX as far away as possible and not mounted on top of the DJI.

This not knowing thing is driving me crazy. I hate it, I really do.

Mainly Speed, and the ability to Auto...I am looking to try to the WKH in my new bird..

Using the Z-15 is real interesting...Need to bite the bullet and buy one!

Flying heli's since 1988, wouldnt fly the 800e in a crowd though, not like a MK, I have a 450 Quad with GoPro, a 450 Heli GoPro, a Bergan 800e w/5DMark3, a Trex 800e with PS1 for FS700+, Airstar Ship with a Hansen 29, and Now this S800...all have their place in the business...

Tested it and all outputs measure .832 mV So I gather it is OK and indeed the "new" FC.
Below are some pics of the layout. The satellite receiver is mounted on landing leg and all other components are as far away as possible from each other.
The IMU is also not touching sides as I filed the hole slightly bigger. Connector pins on plate also seem to be fine.

I so wish there was some form of datalogger. We need to get to the bottom of this and need to feel a lot more comfortable flying this bird.

Sorry guys but our s800 has just been crashed into the ground after about 20 flights, i was in gps mode when it crashed from about 10 meters, it suddenly flipped around in 2 or 3 loops and then hit the ground, we have been fliging with a weight under neath the model, to simulate the weight of the zenmuse an camera, this is a version 2 machine, and only few vibs from the propellers..... bad. bad. bad

Yes of course, we are flying on the lattest version 5,14 and have the same settings as Denny Roland
It just seems that it flipped into 2 and 3 times in loops foreward, not to the side as all the others, but in nick direction

In the photo of your Center Plate I see one thing that could be the cause of your S800 Crash.

If you look closer you see that PMU cable have a litlle pinch. This pinch is caused by the spacers of the plates.

Even with some vibrations, it shouldn't do this. You don't go from being in complete control of a craft that vibrates a bit, to a motor going full throttle on you. I can't believe they haven't posted anything yet, there are some serious issues with these things. And when a multi costs that much to buy, you should get something that is at least a LITTLE bit reliable.
