DH9100 Need Upgrade Advice/Is this a good idea

Hi i got a couple DH9100 I was wondering if
http://www.amazon.com/Dynamite-7-4V-...ords=7.4v+lipo

would be a feasable battery upgrade. Its 3x the original weight but the dimensions are right to fit. as well its 3x the original power amount. if not what would a good battery upgrade be?

Most low price RTF helis already have the biggest battery the heli will handle. You certainly don't want to add weight and there's no reason to extend flight time. You can simply land, swap batteries and give your heli a rest for a minute or two. The motors will last longer.

These helis have really got my interest. The price is really good on these. I have a ton of heli parts and thought that this heli could be converted to a 4 channel. Fixed pitch helis are a blast to fly. I have servos , receivers, and all sorts of spare parts. Has anyone actually converted one of these to 4 channel?

Yes, but there are already 4 channel versions that are much more cost effective.
