Boeing B-314 Clipper: 1/16 Scale (114" span)
Here are some photos of my scratch built B-314. I generated the plans from a 3-view of this magnificent flying boat. Construction is glass over foam for the fuselage and sponsons, and conventional built-up balsa construction for the wings. Power is four O.S. .52 four stroke engines. Weight: 29 lbs. This airplane flies extremely well. This project took about a year to complete. It first flew in March 2008. I like to fly it low!
